Microsoft Windows podria permetre a un atacant remot executar codi arbitrari al sistema a causa d’un error en el component remalnom Procedure Call Runtime. Mitjançant l’enviament d’una anomenada RPC especialment dissenyada a un host RPC, l’atacant podria explotar aquesta vulnerabilitat per executar codi arbitrari al costat del servidor amb els mateixos permisos que el servei RPC.
